1890s Men´s Trousers

This project challenged me to research historical patterns and alter them to fit my design. Not only was this pair of trousers made from scratch, but they were also my first project that was completely fitted for a different person. It was a great learning experience to fit the garment on someone else and see and fix the fit issues instantly.
Especially the double welt pockets and the other period acccurate details, like the button fly, proved to be the biggest achievements in this construction process.
