"Around the World in 72 Days"  explores the source material "Around the World in 80 Days" by Jules Verne through a modern, feminist lense. The TV show draws inspiration from the life and adventures of Nellie Bly, a journalist who travelled around the World in 1889. It is set out to show how kindness, understanding and determination can change what
was believed to be everlasting rules and that whatever your dreams are, they can become reality when you
are brave and persistent enough to face all challenges.
